Tomorrow I’ll be giving an ‘In Conversation’ lecture plus Q&A at the DCA, Dundee in the Visual Research Centre @ 2pm. The focus of the lecture will be a mixture of the new Cross-fire series and also my position within the discipline of craft. Perhaps a quick visual response to this is the above image titled ‘Thug’ Craft. This humorous take on the current ‘prefix’ craze sweeping the discipline of craft is only to highlight how unnecessary it actually is but don’t worry no ‘real’ ceramics where hurt during the shooting of this image.
