Cross-Fire Teapot edition of 10

Cross-Fire teapot is an artefact of the traversing sound clash within a domestic argument. The piece is made in slip-cast earthenware with a glossy white glaze. The piece is an edition of 10 plus 1AP and accompanied with the Cross-Fire animation, price on application.

The piece will be seen as part of the Craft Council England upcoming exhibition tilted Lab Craft, more details to follow. Cross-fire will also be part of Prediction, Biennale International Design, Saint-Etienne, France in October 2010. I will be showing the full animation and resultant sound artefacts that where first exhibited in Dundee as part of the Future Craft exposition.

In October I will be locating briefly to the University of Michigan as part of their Roman Witt Visiting Artist program. I am very excited about this opportunity and am looking forward to meeting the academic and student body.
