I thought I would post images from the Lab Craft exhibition. After returning on the Saturday to fully digest the vision of the curator Max Fraser, my personal opinion is that the show has successfully captured the scope of digital technology within the craft sector. Also the design of the show by Tomoko Azumi proved that craft exhibits can feel dynamic and fresh, gone are the days of the white plinth – well here’s hoping. Once I’ve got time I’ll tag the correct practitioner to each photo though for now enjoy the photos.
It’s a short 3 days back lecturing at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen then I will be touring North America; first stop University of Michigan. Lots more info to follow…
